Previous rumors have suggested that Apple has ran into a ton of production issues with the new Apple Watch and most of the issues are caused by the new laminated display. Also, in a new report from Max Weinbach, he claims Apple plans to give the Apple Watch Series 7 a longer battery life than before. Apple hasn’t updated the battery life of the Apple Watch with any new models. So the new updated battery could mean the Apple Watch could last days on a single charge. The Apple Watch Series 7 will have a completely new design with flat edges a larger screen and larger speaker grills. There’s also a new 41mm and 45mm size option which will replace the 40mm and 44mm sizes. The Apple Watch will be unveiled at the September event next Tuesday.
- The iPhone 14 will have a similar design to the iPhone 4
Today Jon Prosser showed us renders of the iPhone 14 or 2022 iPhone. The iPhone 14 looks very similar to the iPhone 4. Like the iPhone 4, the iPhone 14 will feature titanium on the sides and glass in the front and back of the device. There will also be no protrusion from the cameras and the camera module will be flat. There will be rounded volume buttons and the speaker grills will be oval. There’s also a hole punch camera display instead of the notch. The lightning port will still remain on the iPhone 14 models. Apple doesn’t plan to switch to USB-C anytime soon. There are rumors about Apple moving the charging port entirely and making the iPhone port les, but it’s probably not going to happen for a couple of years. There isn’t any information regarding the internals of the iPhone 14 along with the new features it will have. All we know for now is the design will change. The iPhone 13 is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Apple event which will happen virtually on September 14th. Based on rumors, the iPhone 13 won’t be a major upgrade like the iPhone 12.

Image: RendersbyIan Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his new report claims that the new Apple Watch Series 7 will have a larger display and new exclusive watch faces to take advantage of the larger screen. The new Apple Watch Series 7 will now be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes compared to 40mm and 44mm sizes of the previous models. This was first rumored by Unclepan on Weibo and then an image shared on Twitter showed 45mm engraved on the surface of something. Apple is also planning to release a bunch of new watch faces alongside the new Apple Watch Series 7. The first is the Modular Max watch face followed by the Continuum, Atlas/World Timer, and new Nike and Hermes edition watch faces. - Apple Watch Series 7 mass production delayed just days before the Apple September event
Image: EverythingApplePro According to new reports from Mark Gurman and Nikkei Asia, Apple has run into problems trying to manufacture the Apple Watch Series 7. This caused the mass production of the device to be delayed just days before the Apple September event. Nikkei Asia claims that manufacturers Apple relied on started small scale production of the Apple Watch Series 7 last week, but had many problems trying to achieve high quality production performance. This caused mass production to be delayed until the problems could be solved. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that the new laminated display on the Apple Watch Series 7 might be causing this issue. Since the Apple Watch Series 7 has a new design compared to the previous models, it will cause many problems with the production since Apple will have to create a new production process. The issues are happening just a few days before the Apple September event. Apple normally always unveils the new Apple Watch models at the September event, but this year they will probably be unveiled at the event but released at a later date.
- Tim Cook reportedly wants to unveil a new product category before retiring as Apple’s CEO
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Tim Cook allegedly wants to unveil a new product category for Apple before retiring as Apple’s CEO. This new product category is most likely the new Apple AR Glasses. In a podcast interview with Kara Swisher back in April, Tim Cook was asked if he will still be Apple’s CEO after 10 years and Tim Cook replied Tim Cook: Ten more years? Probably not. But I can tell you that I feel great right now and the date is not in sight. But ten more years is a long time — and probably not ten more years. He was then asked what he would do if he wasn’t running Apple. Kara Swisher: What would you do if you weren’t running Apple? Tim Cook: I don’t have a clue because I love this company so much, that it is hard to imagine my life without it. And so I don’t think I will know that until after I’m not here. Because I think I will run so fast that I’ll never really think about it until I’m not running anymore. Does that make any sense? Tim Cook claims that he doesn’t plan to stay around after ten more years, but the date isn’t in sight and he will still remain as the CEO for a couple more years. A new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Tim Cook will most likely step down as Apple’s CEO in 2025 because his pay deal will end that year. Tim Cook will most likely unveil the Apple Glasses before 2025 and then retire. Tim Cook served as a great CEO for Apple since he turned Apple into the most valuable company in the world, he also donated a lot of money towards charity and opened up organizations for racial justice and equality. Tim Cook unveiled the Apple Watch and AirPods and he will leave Apple in a better position than it was when he became CEO in 2011.
- The iPhone 13 will have LEO Satellite Communication to call and text without cellular connectivity
In a new report from Ming Chi Kuo, he claims that Apple is going to bring the LEO Satellite Communication to the iPhone 13. This will allow users to call and text without cellular connectivity using Low Earth Orbit Satellite Communication. According to the report, the iPhone 13 already has the Qualcomm X60 chip which allows for LEO Satellite Communication. Qualcomm is reportedly working on the X65 chip which many smartphone manufacturers are waiting for so they can bring the LEO Satellite Communication feature on their phones. Apple will most likely work with Globalstar to allow users to call and text without cellular connectivity. Ming Chi Kuo claims that large network operators might team up with Gobalstar so their customers can use the service directly from the network operator without any extra payment. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported on the existence of a team at Apple working on LEO Satellite Communication features a while back. The LEO Satellite Communication feature is reportedly going to be available on many Apple products and it has become a company priority to get this to the market as soon as possible.
- Apple Watch Series 7 clones with all new design starts popping up in China
Twitter user Majin Bu shared images of a couple of Apple Watch Series 7 clones that are popping up in China. These clones have the all new design with flat edges and look like the leaked CAD files. Previous rumors from credible sources like Jon Prosser and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed that Apple was bringing flat edges, thinner bezels, and a slightly larger display to the new Apple Watch Series 7. The image lines up with all the rumors we’ve been hearing so far. The last design change we saw on the Apple Watch was with the Series 4. The flat edges will allow the display to be flat unlike on the previous models where it would stick out a bit. There are also rumors about 5G Ultra Wide Band coming to the Apple Watch cellular version. Recently a lot of rumors have suggested that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in a 41mm and 45mm size from the previous 40mm and 44mm size options. The Apple Watch Series 7 will be unveiled at Apple’s September event in just a couple of weeks alongside the new iPhone 13.
- Apple plans to make the iPhone 13 models more expensive
Image: EverythingApplePro In a new report from DigiTimes, they claimed that Apple is planning to increase the prices of the new iPhone 13 models because of the global chip shortage. The report explains that TSMC which manufactures chips for Apple increased their chip manufacturing costs by 20% and this will affect companies like Apple who would have to somehow compensate for that. This is why Apple will increase their price. Apple doesn’t really have any exciting features that are coming to the iPhone 13. Besides the 120Hz display and a smaller notch there really isn’t that much to look forward too. It could be possible for Apple to raise the prices of the lower end models and keep the prices of the higher end models the same. But previous rumors suggested Apple would keep the pricing the same for the iPhone 13 models. The Apple September event is just a couple of weeks away and we will be seeing the new iPhone 13 there.
- New image confirms iPhone 13 name for the 2021 iPhone models
A new image shared on Twitter by DuanRui shows a label which says iPhone 13 on some sort of Apple packaging. If this image is real, then the 2021 iPhone models will be called the iPhone 13 instead of the iPhone 12s which many people thought it would be called because of the minor updates. The iPhone 13 is expected to launch in September and rumors suggest that we’re just weeks away from the next Apple event.
- A new image confirms the new Apple Watch 41mm and 45mm sizes
A new image shared on Twitter by DuanRui confirms previous rumors of the Apple Watch Series 7 launching in a 41mm and 45mm size. The image shows 45mm printed on what appears to be a box. Apple doesn’t have any 45mm Apple Watch products, so this might be for the Apple Watch Series 7. A recent rumor from Weibo user UnclePan claimed that Apple would launch the new Apple Watch models in a 41mm and 45mm size. He also said that previous Apple Watch bands will be compatible with the new watch models. Apple will most likely release the new Apple Watch models in a 41mm and 45mm size. This is probably because of the rumored design change and new screen size because of the flat edges.
