For the first time since the iPhone X release in 2017, Apple is replacing the notch with pill plus hole punch cutout. Max Weinbach on Twitter has shared schematics of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max which shows a thicker design with a large camera bump, adjustments to the notch, and more. The schematics show that the iPhone 14 Pro Max with slightly get smaller than it’s predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The width will now be 77.58mm and the height will be 160.7mm. The schematics also reveal how the camera bump on both the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will slightly get thicker. The iPhone 14 lineup will be unveiled in September and we will receive more information about them when we get closer to the release date.

Apple launched a variety of new cases and Watch bands for the Spring on their website after the Apple Spring event. The new colors for the iPhone 13 lineup cases include Lemon Zest, Eucalyptus, and Nectarine. They’re all available for $49. The Standard Solo Loop for the Apple Watch has new Nectarine, Mineral Green, Lemon Zest, and Eucalyptus color options. The Braided Solo Loop for the Apple Watch has new Starlight, Bright Green, Abyss Blue, and Flamingo color options. The Sport Band has Bright Green, Lemon Zest, and Blue Fog. Apple announced new accessories which will be sold separately on their website today after the event. These new accessories include the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad in space grey colors. It also ships with a black braided cable. The 27-inch iMac was discontinued shortly after Apple’s event that took place today. It was last updated back in August 2020 and only reviewed minor updates with only a few new features. The 24-inch iMac was redesigned last year and was updated to include the new M1 chip but we haven’t seen the 27-inch iMac ever get updated. There are rumors surfacing about an iMac Pro update which will feature the new Apple Silicon chips and there’s a possibility that will replace the 27-inch iMac.

Apple today announced a brand new product called the Mac Studio and the new Studio Display to go with it. Mac Studio The Mac Studio has an amazing design which looks very similar to the Mac mini. It has 6 USB-C ports and 4 Thunderbolt ports. There‘s also an SD card slot, and 2 USB A ports, as well as an HDMI port. There’s also a headphone jack for speakers. You can also configure the Mac Studio to include the M1 Max chip for $1999 or the new M1 Ultra chip for $3999. You can order it today and it will be available on March 18. Studio Display Apple also announced the new Studio Display alongside the new Mac Studio which also has a bunch of features. The Studio Display has the A13 Bionic chip inside as well as a 12MP front facing camera with center stage. There are also mics and speakers. Today Apple added a new chip to their M1 lineup called M1 Ultra. M1 Ultra is basically two M1 Max chips combined to provide better performance. It comes with a 20-core CPU and a 64-core GPU. It also up to a 128GB of unified memory and up to 800GB of memory bandwidth. It nearly knocks out all chips in the industry and it’s crazy to think that this is still Apple’s first generation chip for the Mac.

Today Apple announced the new 5th generation iPad Air which has a ton of new features. The iPad Air 5 comes in five new colors including purple, space gray, starlight, pink, and blue. The iPad Air 5 now has an M1 chip inside just like the iPad Pro and there’s also support for 5G. The new 12MP front facing camera now supports Center Stage. There were no updates to the design since the iPad Air 4 got a massive refresh back in 2020.
