A new Mac mini model has been spotted in firmware for the Studio Display which suggests that Apple is working on a new Mac mini that’s release day is around the corner. Steve Troughton Smith on Twitter revealed how a reference to Macmini10,1 was found for the Studio Display. He also claims how the model identifier doesn’t match any existing Mac mini, so it must be for a new Mac mini model. Previous rumors suggested that Apple was planning to release a new redesigned Mac mini model with new ports and the new Apple Silicon chip. Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo claims that the new Mac mini would be announced in 2023 and to not expect any announcement from Apple this year.

- New leaked images show Apple’s new 35W dual USB-C power adapter
New leaked images of Apple’s upcoming 35W dual USB-C power adapter have been shared by ChargerLab on Twitter. The new power adapter has two USB-C ports with a folding design. The ports are also side by side instead of on top on one another. The design is also very compact. Previous rumors from Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo suggested that Apple would utilize gallium nitride (GaN) technology for this power adapter which allows for more power in a smaller compact design.

Gurman claims that he’s not sure if Apple will launch the new headset in June at WWDC adding that “it’s still out of the question in June”, but he claims that beta versions of iOS 16 codenamed “Sydney” have a ton of references to how the headset will interact with the iPhone. Gurman thinks that Apple will launch the headset sometime soon before Fall of 2023. Gurman also thinks that Apple is gearing up to show off parts of the headset like rOS or realityOS, the new operating system of the headset to developers before they can get their hands on the actual product. The Apple AR/VR headset has been rumored for a while now and though it has been initially rumored to launch at this year’s WWDC event, new rumors suggest otherwise.

Other rumors also suggest that a new redesign Mac Mini model might debut at the event. There’s also a possibility that we might see the Mac Pro at this event with the new Pro Display XDR. At the end of the last Apple event in March, Apple hinted towards the Mac Pro coming at a later date saying there’s only one Mac left in the lineup. WWDC is normally an event aimed at the new software Apple is working on, but we have seen hardware at this event in the past.

Today Apple announced that its annual World Wide Developer Conference or WWDC will be taking place virtually from June 6 - 10. Apple claims that this year they will host a lot of sessions, more learning labs, and more digital lounges, as well as allow people to access them for completely free. Apple also plans to to host a limited number of developers and students at Apple Park to watch the keynote together. At WWDC 2022 Apple is expected to unveil the new iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, tvOS 16, and watchOS 9. There is a small possibility that we might get new hardware like the updated Mac Pro with Apple Silicon.

Apple plans to launch the new second generation AirPods Pro in the second half of 2022 according to a new tweet by Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo. AirPods Pro we’re released in October of 2019 which was a long time ago, so it’s possible that se might see a new model very soon. The last update for the AirPods Pro was alongside the new third generation AirPods in October 2021 with the inclusion of support for MagSafe. Kuo also claimed that the demand for the third generation AirPods is significantly than the demand for the second generation AirPods. Kuo also claims that Apple will most likely discontinue the AirPods Pro after the launch of the second generation AirPods to avoid making the same mistake they did with selling both the second generation AirPods and the third generation AirPods side by side. The weak demand for the third generation AirPods caused Apple to cut production by 30%. According to previous rumors from Kuo about the second generation AirPods Pro, Apple will include significantly upgraded wireless chips in the new AirPods Pro. This will improve the battery life as well as allow AirPods Pro to have support for lossless audio. The charging case for the new AirPods Pro will also be able to emit sound to help users locate them. Leaked images of the case has showed speaker grills on the bottom of the case. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has also said that Apple is planning to launch an all new redesign AirPods Pro with no stems and trying to make the device smaller and it will look very similar to the Galaxy buds or pixel buds.

The new colors will be called Moon Gray, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Pink. Beats Studio Buds launched in June 2021 and has a lot of similar features to the AirPods Pro like Active Noise Cancellatio, Transparency mode, Spatial Audio, and more. There’s also support for quick pairing and Hey Siri support. You can get all this for the price of $149.

The new leak shows CAD files of the iPhone 14 Pro Max where the bezels are 1.95mm compared to 2.42mm on the iPhone 13 Pro Max which is a significant decrease in size. The decrease in size of the bezels on the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have be noticeable. Another factor of the decrease in size is because of the new pill plus hole punch shaped cutout which will replace the notch on the new iPhone 14 Pro models.

According to a new report from Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo on Twitter, he claims that Apple is working on a 15-inch MacBook which could launch in 2023. A recent rumor from display analyst Ross Young, claimed that Apple is working on a 15-inch MacBook Air model, but Kuo claims that model isn’t part of the MacBook Air family and will instead be a different MacBook. Kuo also claimed that the new 15-inch MacBook will still use a 30W power adapter even though it has a larger display. Kuo claims the design goal for the 15-inch MacBook is to use the 30W power adapter. Ross Young and Ming Chi Kuo both claim that 2023 is when we should expect this model to launch.

Apple is planning to allow customers to subscribe to a product just like they would for iCloud storage, Apple Music, or Apple TV Plus. They will use their Apple ID for the product and services. This subscription service will also have a fixed monthly price and will allow you to upgrade to new products as soon as they get released. The new service is rumored to launch by the end of this year, but there is a possibility that we might see it in early 2023.

It allows users to add their drivers license to their Wallet App. As of now, the feature is only available to use at TSA security checkpoints at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport with more areas coming soon. Other states like Hawaii, Mississipp, Colorado, Kentucky, Iowa, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Oklahoma, Utah, and Puerto Rico will have this feature available soon.
