Apple executives respond to complaints about Vision Pro being too heavy

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Apple executives shed light on the design challenges and technological advancements behind the Apple Vision Pro.

Richard Howarth, Apple's VP of industrial design, emphasized that the headset's weight and size represent the best balance achievable with the current technology.

Mike Rockwell, VP of Apple's Vision Products Group, highlighted the extensive integration of cutting-edge technology into a compact form factor.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, reflected on the evolution of the Vision Pro, acknowledging its transformation from an unwieldy prototype into a wearable device.

Despite these strides, journalists and tech enthusiasts have raised concerns about the headset's comfort during prolonged use.

The Vision Pro, constructed from magnesium, carbon fiber, and aluminum, weighs between 21.2 and 22.9 ounces, depending on accessory choices. While Apple executives tout its technological prowess, criticisms regarding comfort persist among early reviewers.
