According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a new updated Low Power mode coming to watchOS 9 will allow users to use the Apple Watch without taking up significant battery power.
The only power saving technology available on the Apple Watch right now is power reserve mode which allows users to only view the time by decreasing the amount of power the Apple Watch uses significantly.
Apple is planning to bring low power mode from the iPhone on the Apple Watch so users can still use the device and it’s apps without consuming way too much power.
warchOS 9 will also include a new atrial fibrillation feature which will track how long a user has been in a state of atrial fibrillation.
watchOS 9 will get unveiled at WWDC 2022 alongside new software for Apple’s other platforms.
