Apple has introduced a "Year in Review" feature for its Books app in select countries, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, France, and Germany.
Accessible on iPhones and iPads running iOS 17.1 or iPadOS 17.1 and later, the recap is located in the Read Now tab under Top Picks. Users with at least three finished titles can explore personalized highlights, such as total reading time, longest book or audiobook, most-read author and genre, and highest-rated book.
The recap is shareable, and with the "Reading Goals" option enabled, users can also track statistics like their longest reading streak and average monthly reading minutes.
Apple has wrapped up its year-end content with announcements of award-winning apps, spotlights on popular podcasts, and the launch of the complete Apple Music Replay experience for 2023. Adding to the excitement, Taylor Swift has been crowned as Apple Music's Artist of the Year.
