Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Tim Cook allegedly wants to unveil a new product category for Apple before retiring as Apple’s CEO. This new product category is most likely the new Apple AR Glasses.
In a podcast interview with Kara Swisher back in April, Tim Cook was asked if he will still be Apple’s CEO after 10 years and Tim Cook replied
Tim Cook: Ten more years? Probably not. But I can tell you that I feel great right now and the date is not in sight. But ten more years is a long time — and probably not ten more years.
He was then asked what he would do if he wasn’t running Apple.
Kara Swisher: What would you do if you weren’t running Apple?
Tim Cook: I don’t have a clue because I love this company so much, that it is hard to imagine my life without it. And so I don’t think I will know that until after I’m not here. Because I think I will run so fast that I’ll never really think about it until I’m not running anymore. Does that make any sense?
Tim Cook claims that he doesn’t plan to stay around after ten more years, but the date isn’t in sight and he will still remain as the CEO for a couple more years.
A new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Tim Cook will most likely step down as Apple’s CEO in 2025 because his pay deal will end that year.
Tim Cook will most likely unveil the Apple Glasses before 2025 and then retire.
Tim Cook served as a great CEO for Apple since he turned Apple into the most valuable company in the world, he also donated a lot of money towards charity and opened up organizations for racial justice and equality. Tim Cook unveiled the Apple Watch and AirPods and he will leave Apple in a better position than it was when he became CEO in 2011.
