According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is said to be working on a more powerful version of the MacBook Air with a new Apple Silicon chip. This could possibly be the new rumored M1X or M2 Chip.

The next generation MacBook Air will still have an 8-Core CPU, but there will be improvements to the GPU which will increase to 10-Cores of graphics.

The new MacBook Air is also expected to get a new design. Previously Jon Prosser shared concepts of what the new MacBook Air could look like. He also claimed that the MacBook Air will be available in a variety of colors like the iMac and that we will most likely be seeing white bezels on the MacBook Air similar to the ones on the new iMac.

Gurman claims that the new MacBook Air will available in the coming months. Previous rumors suggested that it is expected to release sometime at the end of 2021.
