Apple analyst, Ross Young on Twitter claimed that the new M1X MacBook Pro models might feature a 120Hz Mini-LED display.
Ross Young also claimed this is possible because Apple is using the same suppliers that delivered the iPad Pro panels for the M1X MacBook Pro. Apple launched an iPad Pro model with a 120Hz Mini-LED display back in April, so there’s a possibility of the display coming to the new MacBook Pro.
We have heard about the new MacBook Pro featuring a Mini-LED display for a while now. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo both said that Apple plans to bring a Mini-LED Display to the new MacBook Pro to replace the current LCD display.
Just last month Apple announced that it will bring a 120Hz Pro Motion display to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Perhaps they’re trying to bring it to different product categories.
The new M1X MacBook Pro is expected to launch at the Apple event next Monday at 10am PDT.
