Mark Gurman’s new report claims that Apple’s new larger redesigned iMac will have a more powerful processor.
The 27-inch iMac which has yet to be updated will feature the new M1X or M2X chip. This will be much more powerful than the M1 which had impressive benchmarks even though it was Apple’s first silicon for the Mac.
Apple Silicon chips are more powerful than Intel and AMD chips. So there’s no doubt that the new iMac will have a better performance.
We don’t known when the new iMac will be released but it should launch sometime next year since Apple still has to update the 27-inch model.
