The new 2021 MacBook Pro might debut at the WWDC 2021 keynote

According to Apple leaker Jon Prosser, Apple will most likely launch the new MacBook Pro at WWDC 2021.

The leak comes right after hints of a new MacBook Pro were found in a new image advertising the keynote. The image shows a code form of the fork and knife emoji, the sleeping Z’s emoji, and a MacBook emoji.

The 2021 MacBook Pro is expected to have a major redesign. Previous rumors suggested that the bezels will shrink and that the entire chassis will get thinner. The Touch Bar which was introduced in 2016 will be removed. There will also be a 14-inch and 16-inch model.

Apple will also bring back MagSafe to the MacBook Pro which will help it charge faster. There will also be more ports including the HDMI port, SD card slot, and multiple Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo suggested that Apple will launch the new MacBook Pro in the second half of 2021, so it’s very likely the we will see them at the WWDC keynote.
