Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Apple still plans to unveil the new Apple Watch Series 7 alongside the iPhone 13 at the upcoming September event next Tuesday.
Gurman says that he believes Apple will announce the new Watch models at the event, but won’t start shipping them until later this year. Previous rumors have suggested that Apple has ran into a ton of production issues with the new Apple Watch and most of the issues are caused by the new laminated display.
Also, in a new report from Max Weinbach, he claims Apple plans to give the Apple Watch Series 7 a longer battery life than before. Apple hasn’t updated the battery life of the Apple Watch with any new models. So the new updated battery could mean the Apple Watch could last days on a single charge.
The Apple Watch Series 7 will have a completely new design with flat edges a larger screen and larger speaker grills. There’s also a new 41mm and 45mm size option which will replace the 40mm and 44mm sizes.
The Apple Watch will be unveiled at the September event next Tuesday.
