According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to launch their AR/VR headset very soon.
Gurman claims that he’s not sure if Apple will launch the new headset in June at WWDC adding that “it’s still out of the question in June”, but he claims that beta versions of iOS 16 codenamed “Sydney” have a ton of references to how the headset will interact with the iPhone.
Gurman thinks that Apple will launch the headset sometime soon before Fall of 2023.
Gurman also thinks that Apple is gearing up to show off parts of the headset like rOS or realityOS, the new operating system of the headset to developers before they can get their hands on the actual product.
The Apple AR/VR headset has been rumored for a while now and though it has been initially rumored to launch at this year’s WWDC event, new rumors suggest otherwise.
