Rumors for the iPhone 13 claimed that Apple was going to introduce a new feature for satellite connectivity. The feature ended up not making it to the iPhone 13 models but new rumors claim that Apple might announce it on the iPhone 14 models.
Now in a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, he claims that Apple might bring the feature to a future Apple Watch model. Gurman believes the feature should be available on this year’s model or the 2023 model.
The feature will allow users to connect to satellite and make calls and do other tasks on their device from a place with no cell phone towers nearby.
This feature will be very helpful incase of an emergency in a no service area where your device will be inaccessible.
Rumors for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 suggest that Apple is planning to launch three new models for the Apple Watch. One of them is the new updated Apple Watch SE and the other two is the regular Series 8 and Rugged model Series 8 which is meant for extreme sports and activities.
Apple will announce the Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE in September alongside the new iPhone 14 models.
