A new Mac mini model has been spotted in firmware for the Studio Display which suggests that Apple is working on a new Mac mini that’s release day is around the corner.
Steve Troughton Smith on Twitter revealed how a reference to Macmini10,1 was found for the Studio Display. He also claims how the model identifier doesn’t match any existing Mac mini, so it must be for a new Mac mini model.
Previous rumors suggested that Apple was planning to release a new redesigned Mac mini model with new ports and the new Apple Silicon chip.
Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo claims that the new Mac mini would be announced in 2023 and to not expect any announcement from Apple this year.
