The new 2022 MacBook Pro which is supposed to replace the current 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro is rumored to launch in March according to DigiTimes.
Apple is planning to hold an event in March for the third generation iPhone SE and the new iPads. So it might be possible that Apple is preparing to launch a new MacBook Pro model at this event.
DigiTimes also claims that the new MacBook Pro will have an M2 chip inside. The new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro has the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chip inside so it’s seems unlikely that the low end model will have the M2 chip. If that’s the case then M2 chip might be less powerful than the M1 Pro and M1 Max chip.
Recent rumors suggested that we will see new MacBook Air models and iMac’s at the event. But it is still possible for Apple to throw the MacBook Pro in there.
