In a recent report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's anticipated release of new iPad Pro and iPad Air models is now slated for early May, after previously hinted March and April launch dates failed to materialize.
Updates are in the works for both the iPad Pro and iPad Air lines. The iPad Pro is expected to feature OLED displays and the latest M3 chips, while the iPad Air will be available in the standard 10.9-inch size and a larger 12.9-inch size.
Manufacturers are currently scaling up production for the new iPads. Apple's original plan was to unveil the devices in March or early April, but delays have ensued as they finalize the accompanying software.
Additionally, the introduction of OLED displays for the iPad Pro involves intricate manufacturing techniques, further contributing to the postponement.
