New image shows how Apple is removing the plastic wrap from the iPhone 13 box

A new image shared on Twitter by DuanRui gives us a better understanding of how Apple plans to remove the plastic wrap from the iPhone 13 box.

At the Apple September event, Apple said that they will ship iPhones in boxes without the plastic wrap from now on. But it was hard for us to understand how this will work. A lot of questions popped up like how can we differentiate between an opened and unopened iPhone box.

Apple’s solution for this was to seal the box up on the ends with a paper type sticker that can be ripped off to open the iPhone box.

This is just one of Apple’s ways of trying to save the environment. Last year with the iPhone 12 lineup, the iPhones had a Paper sticker on the screen protecting them while in the box.

Apple claims that removing the plastic wrapping from the iPhone 13 box will make them avoid using 600 metric tons of plastic.
