The Apple Watch Series 8 might receive the new flat-edge design rumored for the Series 7, according to a new rumor shared by ShrimpApplePro on Twitter.
Apple is reportedly using a flat screen for one of the Apple Watch Series 8 models, which suggests that the chassis will also be flat as well since the display on the Apple Watch curves on the sides with the current chassis.
There’s a possibility that this is the new rugged Apple Watch model that we’ve been hearing about. It’s supposed to be used for extreme sports and also used in extreme conditions. It will also be more durable than your regular Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch Series 7 was rumored to get this new flat-edge design back in 2021, but that never happened, so there’s a possibility that we might see it in the Apple Watch Series 8 lineup.
