Apple's new iPhone 16 models introduce faster MagSafe charging, now capable of reaching up to 25W with a 30W charger, a significant improvement over the previous 15W limit. For the first time, the iPhone 16 supports fast charging via MagSafe, allowing users to reach 50% charge in just 30 minutes with a 30W or higher adapter. Standard USB-C fast charging is also available, but Qi2 wireless charging remains limited to 15W.
In addition to faster charging, Apple offers flexibility with two new MagSafe charger sizes—1-meter and 2-meter options. However, the 30W power adapter must be purchased separately, as Apple no longer includes power adapters with new iPhone purchases, though a USB-C cable is still provided.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 begin on September 13, with the official release on September 20. These upgrades ensure that users can enjoy faster charging speeds and enhanced performance, reinforcing Apple’s commitment to advancing smartphone technology.
