iPhone 15 Pro with USB-C will offer major boost in data transfer speeds according to analyst

After the EU passed a law that will force Apple to switch the iPhone to USB-C by 2024, it's now expected that the iPhone 15 models next year will feature USB-C for the first time. The new USB-C port will also boost the data transfer speeds on iPhone 15 Pro, according to Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo.

Kuo claims that Apple will only boost the speeds of data transfer on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max instead of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus despite all models having USB-C.

Kuo also reports that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature at least USB-C 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 data transfer speeds. With USB-C 3.2, data trasnfer speeds can go up to 20 Gbps, and with Thunderbolt 3, the speeds can go up to 40 Gbps.

USB-C will definitely bring more advantages to the iPhone which wasn't previously possible with the Lightning port from Apple.
