iOS 16 is finally available to download for iPhone users and it has many new updates with the most noticeable one being to the Lock Screen.
The Lock Screen now has Widgets that allow you to glance at important information like the news, weather, or how long it will take for your Uber to arrive. You can also track multiple orders from the Wallet App. The Wallet App will also allow you to use your digital ID in the Wallet App to verify your identify with apps that require verification.
iOS 16 also allows you to translate texts in other languages like signs in foreign countries which will be translated by your iPhone.
With Apple Maps you can now add multiple stops to your route. There's also more information about transits which lets users know how much it will cost for their upcoming ride.
A new accessibility feature includes Door Detection which warns users with visibility issues if they're about to walk into a door and if its open or closed, and how to open it. It will also read to them any text found on the door.
