Apple is planning to launch an iPhone with Face ID and the front camera under the display by at least 2024 with the high end iPhone 16 models according to a new tweet today by Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo.
Kuo backed up Ross Young’s previous rumor on the topic where he claimed Face ID will be implemented under the display on the iPhone 16 and that Touch ID won’t be returning.
Kuo also claimed that Apple is trying to improve the technology first before the introduce it on the iPhone.
The iPhone 14 models will have a pill shaped + hole punch cutout on the top of the display replacing the notch.
