iPhone 14 Pro features an upgraded 48MP main camera and this only applies when you take photos in ProRAW otherwise the camera defaults to 12MP. This is because ProRAW images take up more space than regular images.
Here's how to enable the feature on your iPhone 14 Pro:
Open the Settings app
In Settings tap the option for Camera
Under Camera tap Formats
Under the label "Photo Capture" switch the toggle next to the option Apple ProRAW
Set ProRAW Resolution setting to 48MP
A new ProRAW icon will appear in the Camera app and tap it whenever you want to shoot in ProRAW.
