Here's how to get Apple Intelligence on your iPhone

Apple Intelligence is Apple’s new personal intelligence system designed to enhance communication, productivity, and self-expression. Here's a step by step tutorial on how to download it on your iPhone.

Requirements for Apple Intelligence

Device Compatibility: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Software: iOS 18.1 or later.
Storage: At least 4 GB of free storage.
Language Settings: Both device language and Siri language should be set to (U.S. English), other langauges will be available later.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Update to iOS 18.1

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Download and install iOS 18.1 if it isn’t already installed on your device.

2. Check Language Settings

Ensure that both your Device Language and Siri Language are set to (U.S. English).
Go to Settings > General > Language & Region to adjust device language.
For Siri language, go to Settings > Siri & Search > Language.

3. Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist

Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist. This will place you on the waitlist for access to the beta.
You should receive a notification within a few hours confirming when Apple Intelligence is ready for activation.

4. Activate Apple Intelligence

Once you receive the notification, go back to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap to activate Apple Intelligence.
Your device will begin downloading the on-device Apple Intelligence models to enable full functionality.
