Apple just launched their new Emergency SOS via Satellite feature for iPhone 14 models which allows users who are in no cell service areas contact emergency services via satellite connection.
Apple has made a demo available to help iPhone users get familiar with the feature incase of an emergency where it's required.
Here's how to test out the demo:
You'll need an iPhone 14 to test this out.
Open settings.
Tap on Emergency SOS.
Under "Emergency SOS via Satellite", tap Try Demo.
You will then be guided to a new page to use this feature.
The on-screen instructions will help you connect your iPhone to a satellite.
Cellular and WiFi will be turned off in order to use this feature.
The demo will help you be better prepare for situations when you will actually need this feature.
