Google’s new AR glasses might be able to evade language barriers

Google announced that it has been heavily invested in Augmented Reality like the other tech giants in Silicon Valley. They also showed off a prototype of their new AR Glasses.

Google is focusing to solve real world problems with their new AR glasses and one of the features they showed off was how users can use these glasses to translate different languages in real time.

In the demo video Google showed how their glasses will show a live transcript of the translated language while directly speaking to someone when wearing it.

This will help with the language barrier issues people might face in different parts of the world and makes Google’s glasses more practical than ever.

Unlike companies like Meta who are trying to focus on how to entertain us with features in the Metaverse, Google’s mission is more towards assisting us with our everyday lives.
