Elon Musk’s ‘hardcore’ ultimatum causes mass resignations at Twitter

Massive resignations happened at Twitter today after Twitter employees refused to work for Musk's "Twitter 2.0". The news comes after Musk reportedly told employees that Twitter will be "hardcore" going forward and employees will be required to work long hours.

Musk sent out a Google Form to employees and told them to say "Yes" if they were interested for working for the new Twitter 2.0, and many have responded "no" and decided to leave the company.

The news of the mass exodus comes just a week after Musk layed off half of Twitter's workforce just days after acquiring the company.

Former Twitter employees said that the massive exodus of employees could cause Twitter's infrastructure to break soon and we could see more bugs and outages on the platform.

Musk also fired employees who have criticized him which caused many Twitter employees to quickly hide and delete anything critical they said about Musk on Slack.

Musk is reportedly trying to figure out ways in getting his remaining Twitter employees to stay with the company. He reportedly backed down on his demand of having employees work at the office 40 hours a week and instead come in for in person meetings.

It's unclear what will happen to Twitter from here on out since Musk doesn't seem to be managing the company that well according to many reports from employees and former employees.

Employees at Twitter are debating whether or not they want to stay at the company and help create Musk's vision for the future of Twitter.
