Apple's long-anticipated electric car project, dubbed Project Titan, meets its demise, as reported by Bloomberg. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, responds with a poignant emoji-laden post on social media, highlighting the challenges inherent in the automotive industry.

While some employees from the defunct car project will transition to Apple's artificial intelligence wing, potential layoffs loom for engineers and car designers within the company.

Since its inception in 2014, Apple's electric car venture has been marred by leadership shuffles and launch setbacks, culminating in its termination.

Musk, no stranger to the hurdles of electric vehicle production, once welcomed Apple's foray into the market but cautioned on the complexities of car manufacturing compared to consumer electronics.

In a candid interview, Musk once quipped about Apple being a "Tesla graveyard," insinuating that those who fail at Tesla seek refuge at Apple.
