AMD started CES 2022 with their keynote where they announced new products from their Ryzen and Radeon lineup.
For their Ryzen lineup, AMD announced their new Ryzen 6000 APUs which is powered by the 6nm Zen 3+ CPU alongside RDNA 2 GPU cores. AMD’s keynote focused a lot on their new APUs for notebooks and they also launched 13 new APUs with better performance and efficiency. AMD says it’s new APUs will be available in a variety of different notebooks starting in February of this year.
AMD also launched a few new desktop CPUs which include their new Ryzen 3D V-Cache chip which has 8 Zen 3 cores and also has 96MB of L3 cache. They also showed off the Ryzen 5000 with Zen 3D. They also teased their new Ryzen 7000 CPUs with Zen 4.
AMD also announced new GPUs which comes in the form of the new 6nm and 7nm RDNA 2 GPUs. AMD announced the new Radeon RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 6400 for desktop. They also announced the Radeon RX 6000M XT and Radeon RX 6000S for mobile devices.
Alongside their new GPUs AMD also announced new software updates which include the Radeon Super Resolution Technology and AMD SmartShift Max, SmartShift Eco, SmartAccess Memory, and SmartAccess Graphics.
