Best Buy’s new Upgrade+ program allows MacBook users to get a new one every three years

Today Best Buy announced their new Upgrade+ program which allows customers to upgrade to a new MacBook every three years.

The program involves the use of interest-free financing through Citizens Pay which allows users to join to program for a subscription.

Customers will be able to finance for MacBooks with a monthly subscription and will have the option to upgrade to a new MacBook after their three years is over or pay off their current MacBook and keep it.

Customers will also be able to leave the program with no extra charge.

Best Buy will let customers bundle Apple Care+ plans and finance both their MacBook and plan together.

According to Best Buy this will help reduce e-waste since the MacBook will continue to live on after a customer decides to upgrade to a new one.
