Apple is set to unveil its new retail store in Malaysia on June 22, marking a notable expansion of its physical presence in Southeast Asia.
The new outlet will be situated in Kuala Lumpur at The Exchange TRX mall and will boast a distinctive, tiered white pyramid architectural style. This store will be the sixth Apple Store in the region, joining three in Singapore and two in Thailand.
In anticipation of the store opening, Apple has launched a dedicated webpage and released several wallpapers for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, featuring the Apple logo and the Malay word "Jom," meaning "let's go" or "come on."
Although Apple does not manufacture iPhones in Malaysia, some Mac models are produced in the country. The establishment of this retail store aligns with Apple's strategy to enhance its retail footprint in key Asian markets, where it competes vigorously with local tech companies.
Apple The Exchange TRX will welcome its first customers at 10 a.m. local time on June 22.
