According to a new report from The Irish Times, Apple has announced that they’re planning to build a new office building on its current campus in Cork and plans to hire up to 1,300 new employees.

Apple claims that the building will accommodate both old and new staff and more new hires will join the company to work at their campus there.

According to RTE, the campus will be eco friendly and feature green communal spaces as well as run on 100% renewable energy. All new structures in the campus will feature solar panels.

There will also be an employee transport service and bikes and scooter services for employees.

Apple’s expansion in Cork will be sustainable and the company keeps investing more into their Cork campus.
