According to new reports from Mark Gurman and Nikkei Asia, Apple has run into problems trying to manufacture the Apple Watch Series 7. This caused the mass production of the device to be delayed just days before the Apple September event.

Nikkei Asia claims that manufacturers Apple relied on started small scale production of the Apple Watch Series 7 last week, but had many problems trying to achieve high quality production performance. This caused mass production to be delayed until the problems could be solved.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that the new laminated display on the Apple Watch Series 7 might be causing this issue.

Since the Apple Watch Series 7 has a new design compared to the previous models, it will cause many problems with the production since Apple will have to create a new production process.

The issues are happening just a few days before the Apple September event. Apple normally always unveils the new Apple Watch models at the September event, but this year they will probably be unveiled at the event but released at a later date.
