Apple unveiled the new powerful M1 Pro and M1 Max chip

Today Apple announced two new successors for their powerful M1 chip which was unveiled last year. Apple unveiled the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chip which are more powerful and faster than the M1 chip.

The M1 Pro has a 10-core CPU, and a 16-core GPU with up to 32GB of RAM. The 10-core CPU has eight high performance cores along with two energy efficient cores. It also has 33.7 billion transistors and has up to 200GBs of memory bandwidth. It delivers powerful performance and uses less energy than before which saves battery life.

On the other hand, the M1 Max has a 10-core CPU, a 32-core GPU, and up to 64GB of RAM. The 10-core CPU has eight high performance cores and two energy efficient cores. It also has 57 billion transistors and has up to 400GB of memory bandwidth.

The M1 Max chip is much better for graphics intense tasks like rendering and animation, and coding, and delivers faster performance.

The new M1 Pro and M1 Max chip both have the Apple Neural Engine with 16-cores. This offers better performance and acceleration with speed.

You can test out the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chips which are available on the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.
