Today Apple updated their entire lineup for Apple Watch which included updates to the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE, and Apple unveiled a new category for Apple Watch called Apple Watch Ultra.
The new Apple Watch Series 8 includes new safety features like crash detection and health features for females which includes a body temperature sensor. It also has larger display that curves around the edges like the Series 7. There’s also improvements to battery life with the inclusion of Low Power Mode for Apple Watch which will turn of tracking of all unnecessary apps in the background which is taking up battery life.
The Apple Watch Series 8 will be available in Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Product(RED) color options for the aluminum casing, and for stainless steel casing it’s available in Gold, Silver, and Graphite. It starts at $399 and $499 for cellular.
The second generation Apple Watch SE which has the new S8 chip, features like crash detection, and new color options for aluminum casing and it starts at $249 and $299 for cellular.
Finally Apple announced the new Apple Watch Ultra, which has a 49mm case made of titanium. It is designed for extreme sports and has the brightest display ever on the Apple Watch. It also has a more bulkier design and new watch bands including the Alpine Loop, Ocean Band, and Trail Loop. It also has safety features like a Wayfinder watch face, built in depth gauge, and the brightest display on an Apple Watch. There’s also 36 hours of battery life as well as a new dual frequency GPS.
The Apple Watch Ultra starts at $799 and is only available in a cellular option.
