Apple employees at the Apple Store in Glasgow have voted in favor to become the first store in the United Kingdom to unionize.
This comes after reports of Apple retail employees being underpayed and working in bad conditions.
Apple claims that they're the highest paying retailers in Scotland and offer many industry leading benefits in response to the news from Apple Glasgow.
Many Apple stores here in the U.S. have voted in favor to unionize and Apple has attempted many ways to silence the efforts. Apple has brought many changes to their retail stores including raising hourly wages and encouraging managers to be open with their employees about their concerns.
Employees at Apple Glasgow are hoping to push for higher wages with their union efforts.
