Apple has launched its yearly Back to School promotion for college students in the United States, offering enticing deals to help students gear up for the new academic year. This year's promotion includes a complimentary Apple gift card with the purchase of select Macs and iPads, alongside a 20% discount on AppleCare+ plans.
Students who purchase a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac will receive a $150 Apple gift card. Those opting for a new M4 iPad Pro, M2 iPad Air, or Mac mini will get a $100 gift card. These gift cards can be used to buy Apple products and accessories, App Store apps, and subscriptions to services like Apple Music and iCloud+ storage.
The promotion is accessible through Apple’s online education store and at Apple Store locations. Eligible participants include students attending or accepted to a higher-education institution, higher-education faculty and staff, parents buying on behalf of a student, K-12 institution employees, and select others.
Running through September 30 in the U.S., this offer complements Apple’s standard educational discounts, which provide 5% to 10% off most Macs and iPads. The promotion has also been launched in Canada, India, and several other countries, with plans to expand to Europe and additional regions in the coming weeks.
