Today Apple reported its earnings for the fiscal year Q4 2022.
Apple has reported a record revenue of $90.1 billion, a profit of $20.7 billion, and earnings of $1.29 per share.
Here's the revenue breakdown of Apple's different categories for the fiscal Q4 2022 earnings:
iPhone: $42.63 billion (Up 9.8% yearly)
Mac: $11.51 billion (Up 25.4% yearly)
iPad: $7.17 billion (Down 13.1% yearly)
Wearables, Home, and Accessories: $9.65 billion (Up 9.8% yearly)
Services: (Up 5% yearly)
As the breakdown indicated Apple did miss many analyst expectations this quarter by narrowly beating the expecatations for earnings per share from $1.27 to $1.29.
iPad revenue has also been down by 13.1% yearly and missed expectations of $7.94 billion compared to reported $7.17 billion.
Services also missed expectations of $20.10 billion compared to reported $19.19 billion. iPhone also missed expectations of $42.63 billion compared to reported $43.21 billion.
Apple did also claim that Mac revenue would decline significantly year over year.
Despite this though, Apple met expectations of product revenue of $69.04 billion compared to reported $70.96 billion.
