Apple has unveiled a new color option for the HomePod mini. The smart speaker is now available in a Midnight color, which replaces the previous space gray option. This new hue features a slight bluish tone but remains very close to black, offering a fresh aesthetic choice for users.
The introduction of the Midnight color aligns the HomePod mini with the larger, second-generation HomePod, which is also available in Midnight and White. Despite anticipation for hardware updates, this color change suggests that a new generation of the HomePod mini may still be some time away.
Customers can order the HomePod mini in Midnight starting today through the Apple online store, with the first deliveries expected on July 17. The new color variant is still $99 and retains all existing features and specifications of the current HomePod mini models.
