Apple refuses to accept prove hike for new chips made by Taiwanese chip manufacturer TSMC according to a new report from Economic Daily News.
TSMC was already known to produce more pricey chips than its competitors and has been increasing prices to maintain its premium image in the chip manufacturing industry.
Apple has refused to accept any more price hikes from TSMC which is there largest customer for chips.
The two companies heavily depend on each other since all Apple Silicon in Apple products are manufactured by TSMC and a large portion of TSMC's revenue comes from Apple.
