Apple today at its 'Let Loose' event upgraded the Magic Keyboard for iPad, originally introduced in 2020. This latest iteration is meticulously designed to cater directly to the demands of professional users with enhanced functionality and an improved trackpad experience.

While speculation hinted at a new aluminum build for the Magic Keyboard, Apple opted to focus on refining the user experience. The new model retains its signature slim and lightweight design but introduces notable enhancements tailored to pro workflows.

One standout feature of the new Magic Keyboard is its expanded function row, providing convenient access to essential controls such as volume adjustment, brightness settings, play/pause, and even a dedicated Escape button. This streamlined interface streamlines productivity, allowing users to execute tasks with ease.

In a significant upgrade, Apple has increased the size of the trackpad on the Magic Keyboard, enhancing responsiveness and introducing haptic feedback for a more tactile typing experience. Additionally, the addition of an aluminum palm rest further elevates comfort, offering a typing experience reminiscent of using a Mac.

Available in classic black and white color options, the new Magic Keyboard seamlessly integrates with the latest M4 iPad Pro, delivering a cohesive and stylish solution for on-the-go productivity. With pricing identical to its predecessor, starting at $299 for the 11-inch version and $349 for the 13-inch variant, the new Magic Keyboard offers exceptional value for professional users seeking enhanced functionality and comfort.

Pre-orders for the new Magic Keyboard are open today, with shipping scheduled to commence next week.
