Apple is reportedly testing color e-ink technology for upcoming foldable iPhone and iPad models, according to a new tweet by Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo.
Kuo claims that the e-ink technology could be used for the secondary display available on the future foldable iPhone. He also said that color e-ink technology is more efficient when it comes to battery life compared to other displays.
Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone model has been rumored for a while now and it’s still not clear when the company will eventually release them to the public.
