Apple boosts MacBook Air with 16GB standard RAM while still maintaining same price

MacBook Air

Apple’s MacBook Air lineup now starts with 16GB of RAM across all models, doubling the previous baseline without any price increase.

This memory boost applies to the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 and M3 chips and the 15-inch M3 model, enhancing multitasking performance while maintaining the starting price of $999 in the U.S.

This upgrade aligns with Apple’s recent shift across the Mac ecosystem, as other new models, including the iMac, Mac mini, and base MacBook Pro, now also begin with 16GB of RAM.
