Apple today announced a brand new product called the Mac Studio and the new Studio Display to go with it.
Mac Studio
The Mac Studio has an amazing design which looks very similar to the Mac mini. It has 6 USB-C ports and 4 Thunderbolt ports. There‘s also an SD card slot, and 2 USB A ports, as well as an HDMI port. There’s also a headphone jack for speakers.
You can also configure the Mac Studio to include the M1 Max chip for $1999 or the new M1 Ultra chip for $3999.
You can order it today and it will be available on March 18.
Studio Display
Apple also announced the new Studio Display alongside the new Mac Studio which also has a bunch of features.
The Studio Display is a 27-inch 5K Retina Display with a Nano texture display available for extra charge. The display also has 500 bits of brightness and P3 Wide color.
The Studio Display has the A13 Bionic chip inside as well as a 12MP front facing camera with center stage. There are also mics and speakers.
You can configure the display to come with the included stand similar to the one found on the 24-inch iMac or the adjustable stand for an extra $400.
The Studio Display is available to order today for $1599 and it will start shipping on March 18.
