Apple accidentally leaked realityOS which showed up in their App Store upload logs. This was first spotted by Rene Verhoeven who’s an app developer, and posted this on Twitter.

Apple has been rumored multiple times now for developing a AR/VR headset along with AR glasses. It is possible that the company is working to release a new software platform for the devices very soon.

This information comes a couple of weeks after rumors about Apple’s AR/VR headset being delayed spread. Apple was supposed to launch the new headset this year at WWDC, but overheating issues with the processors inside the headset is apparently causing delays with the actual launch date of the system.

The new images confirms that Apple is still working on the headset and it is possible that it might be coming very soon. Twitter user Steve Troughton-Smith also confirmed that realityOS will be its own software platform and will include a simulator for developers to test out their programs.
